A Dose of Optimism

Hello My Fellow Humans!

I have recently stumbled upon some inspirational videos highlighting the positive aspects of life despite the overwhelming blur of confusion and chaos.  The first is one that will truly inspire.  I have watched this many times in order to truly absorb the meanings and messages of these powerful words.  It foreshadows an imminent conscious revolution to break away from the technology that buzzes all around us and live!

This next video has a relaying message of optimism.  A close friend said to me the other day, "Why would I ever want to bring a child into this shit-hole of a world?" My response was, although we are constantly being fed by the media of only chaos, disorder and oppression, there is still unwavering beauty in humans.  This video focuses on the remarkable ways of human interaction.  As an aspiring Anthropologist, it revitalized my immense love on the universality of humans.  Laughter is beautiful.

Human ingenuity has recently impressed me in the most amazing light at Burningman 2011 this year.  It was a week of boundless love, gifts, and positive energy.  To truly understand the vibe is to experience it for yourself.  After experiencing some intense mind, body and soul awakenings, it is hard to understand why there cannot be a perfect world utopia.  After all, we did it with 50,000 other people in the middle of the desert for a week.  And yet, when there are no limits on what to create, the possibilities are endless.  Giant fish disco cars, giant boombox cars, giant lego cars.... Creativity is the most amazing gift of mankind.  This is the pinnacle of the counterculture of the United States.
