One of the most genius invention of man is the tripod. Such a simple construction creates such stability. The triangle is the most stable shape and it appears in much of what we create: stools, geodesic domes, cranes, etc. With my recent purchase of a $15 tripod from the antique store, night shots have been a new favorite.
